Seen this on eBay, specs looks pretty impressive for the price.

https://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=310960390528&alt=web

Anyone got any idea? Will it actually be at that sort of spec?

Can anyone recommend a decent alternative?

Have heard some of these Chinese phones are actually decent, but not sure which ones?

8 cores? That'll be good! Laughing

They say 4gb ram in the specs and then further down the page post a screen shot that shows 3gb of ram.

The page is so full of stuff that isn't worth mentioning so I expect there's lots of important details hidden amongst the waffle.

Thumbs Down

The important stuff's not hidden, the three good reasons not to buy one:

1) It's made in china.
2) It's made in china.
3) It's made in china by a bunch of scamming fucktards who couldn't make a brown paper bag fit for purpose. It'd be white and open at both ends.

In china? But under western supervision, which makes all the difference. The Chinese have zero pride in their work but if a westerner is standing over their shoulder and their job is on the line they tend to buck up their ideas.

Thanks for the recommendations, but it's the 8 core/4gb ram etc. I'm interested by, all the other phones linked have been around the same spec as my current one (nexus 4)
To be honest I'm perfectly happy with my nexus for a couple more months, then I'm due an upgrade, it was the specs being higher than anything else that I was curious about, and wondered about the legitimacy of

Not true...... this is my job to stand over them and make sure they do what they are supposed to...... there is nothing in this world that you can do to change them.

I had a quick look on Taobao.com which is like the Chinese version of ebay and I can't find this phone. For me it's well over priced and you could find a top fake Samsung clone in the fake markets here for half that price.
