That's a bit strong! If it's in good running order and on the road still, who cares what the OP has done to it?

It would be like seeing someone rescue a 1930's old abandoned car, and re-build it as a mint hot rod, throwing loads of money at it. Then you say they fucked it, when really they rescued a nice old car and let it live on for years to come!

Retrimed the seat today and refitted the shopping rack on rear mudguard..

msob - Why do you want it deleting? As much as 'patina' is flavour of the month, it's your bike (moped?) to be built and treated as you see fit. I think it looks really well done, credit to you.

I kinda like the patina (OK, shagged out) look too
buts its the OPs bike, time and money and up to him
what he does with it.

I gotta say though..
I cant love that seat, its just not working for me
