Trying to find some cleats which I know I bought but cant find as my current ones are knackered!

Bought some shallow drop bars which I'm waiting to arrive and fit.

Trying not to buy a new frame. Laughing

Just put together my new bike.

Just waiting on pedals, mudguards and bottle cages which turn up tomorrow.

Yeah. Reynolds 725 frame, but a carbon fork.

Mudguards are proving a royal pain to fit. Evil or Very Mad

It's pretty easy to do, the trick is use lots of grease to stick them in Thumbs Up

Scraped half an inch of dust off of it and rode it to the shops - oh is this fooway not shared? So hard to keep track of the signs - to avoid Satan's Own Roadworks.

Can't quite seem to... catch my breath... or raise my left arm...

S'normal, right? Just the health flowing back into me? Thinking

Hit over 660 miles on it since I got it a few months ago

Mixture of home trainer and on the road.

Feeling bloody great.

Lost a fair bit of weight as well

A bit late but managed to stack my bike twice on a overnight ride to paris. Destroyed a perfectly nice pair of bib shorts and a castelli top in the process Sad Did manage to get back on and finish the ride despite some hearty road rash.

Ride here https://www.strava.com/activities/191980927

Removed sissy brakes from the CX bike. Removed the front mech, outer ring, few chain links etc... Saved 345grams lol. Brakes are more positive though and less to go wrong with the drivetrain. Just need a 42t ring now. All prepared for Strathclyde Park CX tomorrow Smile

Inevitably the chain dropped twice during the CX race. Was going to fab up a chain stay of sorts but ended up buying a narrow/wide 40T ring instead, will see how well it works before adding a chain stay.

Thought it would have been ok as it was fine with me testing it out for an hour in rough woods but it came off twice just after a runup so maybe me pushing it off with my leg (i dismount on right usually)!

Converted the CX bike to singlespeed a few weeks back, only raced once with it but loved it! So much so I just converted my Cube GTC Pro to SS (will be fixed one day). Thumbs Up

Knackered the back tyre , was the standard one on it from new.

Trainer done most of the damage.

Though it has done 1,205 miles since I got it on 3rd July.

Going to get a proper trainer tyre from Decathlon at weekend.
