It may be old and a little bit tatty, but would piss all over a ChingChong 125!

Much better quality even if it is 20 years older, had an NS125F and that was a great bike, real quick for a 125 too!

Just make sure to use Good quality 2 stroke oil, keep on top of servicing and checking the oil pump etc!

Good Luck!

Nice bike Thumbs Up

I'd be tempted to get that exhaust off and give it a lick of hammerite before it rusts through.

Can you not get the correct rubber pipes for the carb?
Also gluing split pipes is just asking for more trouble down the road,
get some more tubing and do it properly if you want it to be reliable Wink
I had a foxeye for 4 years, daily transport and if looked after it will be as reliable as a 4 stroke every day of the week!
It is worth mentioning that you can get a decent piston/ring set for about £40 online, check the compression as it may be worth giving it a fresh top end.
Also 2 stroke, buy on-line and in bulk (5 litre bottles and you will get top grade stuff very very very cheap!).
I can tell you if you keep out the power-band you can get > 75 MPG, all be it a very boring 75MPG Rolling Eyes
Pin it in every gear, everywhere and you'll be hard pressed to see south of 50MPG though!
I am assuming its de-restricted?
Keep us updated as to how you get on!

Best regards
