He is really. Turns out he works with a mate of mine too, but when he turned up yesterday with the battery charger you could see in his face he was totally busted up about it all, couldn't stop apologising.

Final time I post on this thread, but the bike's all sorted now.

Keith picked the bike up during the week to take it to a garage close to my work to have the electrics checked over. Looks like the battery was cooked when the previous reg-rec unit went deaded, so he ordered a new battery and I went by after work yesterday to have it fitted.

So, hopefully no more issues unless cause by my riding or blind twats in cars looking straight at me when going round a roundabout and still pulling out in front of me (Wednesday morning's commute).
