There's a rumour that TAS will take over the running of BMW's from Buildbase Hawk for next year's BSB and Road Racing events.
Michael Dunlop won 2 NW200 races and 3 TT's this year on the S1000RR but could find himself without a ride next year if the deal goes through. It could mean that the BMW rides go to the current TAS riders, including Guy Martin and Michael's brother William Dunlop.

Can't believe that BMW won't want a say in who rides. Not saying they'll cast off either of the current riders but I'd expect it to be Guy looking for a ride next year.

That bastion of credible motorcycling journalism, MCN, reports it's a done deal.

Exclusive: Michael Dunlop loses BMW ride
By Sports desk - TT & road races 25 October 2014 21:33

MCN can reveal that 11 times TT winner Michael Dunlop is without a job for the 2015 season. The 25 year old is losing his BMW ride for the North West 200, TT and Ulster Grand Prix races after it was revealed that the Buildbase Hawk BMW squad he was contracted to this year is to be replaced by the Northern Ireland-based TAS team as BMW’s officially supported team for next year’s BSB and road racing campaigns.

The Ballymoney man, who won two North West 200 races and the Superbike, Superstock and Senior TTs on Stuart Hicken’s Buildbase Hawk prepared BMW S1000RRs in 2014, is expected to be replaced by the TAS team’s current road riders, Guy Martin and Michael’s elder brother, William.

The sensational shift to BMW sees TAS sever their longstanding relationship with the Suzuki factory, which is expected to focus its racing budget and resources on a return to the MotoGP series.

A full announcement on the TAS team’s 2015 plans is expected later in the week when it will be revealed whether the squad’s current sponsors, Tyco, are to continue their backing.

Michael Dunlop has demonstrated that he is very capable of winning TT's and that the S1000RR is a TT winning bike. If TAS boss Philip Neill is taking on bikes with a proven track record then surely it would make sense to offer the rider a job as well.........?
