hi nice rm do the 98 model still suffer with the power valve assembly falling apart and destroying the complete top end .its just most people ive known over the last 7 years have had this happen on there rms ,and the only cure was to inspect it every few rides to avoid the horrendous expense or have a valve assembly machined out off billet alloy to prolong life .oh and all suzuki dealers deny any power valve problems still to this day .

I was on the roads on a Gilera Runner 125 for a short while for getting work but sold it a few days after having a go of a DTR 125 and a PW80, bought the RM for riding around a local mountain and the forests near us, havent looked back since but i got the ares local so its handy.

I havent had any serious trouble with it at all, the bike is completly standard except the rear silcencer and cosmetics and the previous 2 owners were just over 5ft tall and used it very little, then since i've had it the only real dirty jobs i've done is change the piston and ring in early december, regular service on the oils and stuff keeps it running perfect nearly every weekend and i keep it in my house which i think helps alot in winter.
