having two projects on the go is a little time consuming, but between the 55 Triton im doing, and this, im not making bad time.

The Tr6r will be one I intend to keep, done to my own taste and not to rivet counters specifications!

it came from the states a few years ago, sadly looking like this..

then shuttled home in more manageable chunks!

I sold the silly long forks and tank/seat on ebay and claimed some money back.

I built the forks back up as standard, but with the shuttle valve upgrade. (right)

wheels were pretty good, so I set too cleaning them up with 3M and Bellgom alu.

didn't turn out too bad..

Frame required some attention, like welding up holes that were drilled for the stupid "chopper" tank

And the American title plate..

I intend on having it look like this, but with a black seat and TT pipes (no silencers Razz )

More updates to come as both frames are going for blasting and powdercoat on Monday.

Steve.

It's funny - my old man bought a T120 when in 'MERICA for Daytona bike week, he then ride to New Orleans and crates it home.

That had previously been given the chopper treatment too.

Still, nice to see one coming back to England. Keeping the single carb? If not going for originality I'd plonk a Mikuni on there.

Mikuni is made to a much higher standard than Amal Mk1, but usually slows a Triumph down.
