Well I sold my CBR600RR and moved to Florida!

Took me a while but I got myself a bike, I just couldn't be without one.

Pictures!

I've since added an integrated tail light, tail tidy and RamMount for my phone.

Looking at exhausts but can't find anything I like that's a decent sound.

That'll be that thing called "sunshine" - although I'm convinced it's mythical...

Cool stuff, make sure you check out the nightlife in Ybor city.

(What visa did you use to get out permanently? I'm down in Bradenton for another two days as I'm stuck on VWP at the moment)

Haha, my missus keeps telling me I'm more Redneck than the locals, my danger awareness is pretty much non existent - was fun getting gas at a fuel station on MLK, St Petersburg late one evening, that whole area is a proper ghetto!!

Lovely bike - I do remember your CBR,

So what's the deal on the twisty bike roads? Do you have to travel far? Is there any?

There are a few around but you really do have to travel north or east to find anything decent. Huge amount of cops around too.

St Pete is a nightmare Mental, it gets rather interesting rather quickly, same with East Tampa, I'm over in West Tampa so there are just loads of Mexicans lol

US is probably the hardest country globally to emigrate to.
Easiest method of entry (and the one I'm currently involved with) is through marriage to a USC - expect about a year for paperwork to be finalised!!
Petitioning by US immediate family is another method but can take many years.
Finding a US employer to give you a job - they have to stump up several thousand bucks for your visa and make a case to immigration that they can't find anyone else in the US to match your skillset.
TV/celebrity/sporting types can get in fairly easily.
Minister of religion is a fairly easy route in.
Through education is another method - remembering that you'll need to stump up the fees as an international student before you start the course and be able to support yourself as the rules on working are extremely tight.

As a UK citizen you are unlikely to qualify for the 'tourist visa' (unless you are retired or have a criminal record!!) which means that you are stuck on the Visa Waiver Program and limited to 90 day stays at a time - during which time you can perform no work.

Pretty much any kind of drug conviction (except possession for a minimal amount of blow) excludes you from ever entering the US.
Failure to observe the terms of your vwp is likely to lead to a 10 year ban! Failure to mention a conviction when getting your visa/vwp and they later find out is likely to lead to your removal and a lifetime ban.

Residency visas will cost upwards of £1500

HTH Shocked

...And living in 30 degree C heat with high humidity is not all it's cracked up to be!!! (crank the heat up in the bathroom and run the shower so it gets all steamy - then imagine trying to live in that 24/7!!) Although we did get winter last week, it dropped to zero for about a day, I went out on a boat the next day and got burnt! Laughing

Haha, yea last week was winter. I got burnt on Sunday too!

Very long story on the visa thing, took 8 years in total due to one thing or another (the fact I'd already had one and gave it up). I have family here so they have sponsored me.

Got a good job, good car and good bike now, I won't be going anywhere!

As you can tell, everything is cheaper here Mr. Green
