I play best as scout, and can often finish a game with loads of points just from spotting, and the equipment and perks are all based on spotting and camo

Yesterday I managed to get buy a Chaffee and had a couple of rubbish battles yesterday.... this morning I decided to have a quick blast before college. This was my 4th ever battle in this tank:

Nick I'm waiting patiently for it too.... it does look quite good from the video I seen... but I'm starting to think it will be more like world of warplanes, which I've downloaded twice and still haven't got on with it

War Thunder seems to be a much quicker grind through tanks, but the Tanks are still in testing, the main game is centered around Plane battles and dog fights...

But the tank battles also involve planes and artillery Laughing

The graphics absolutely shit all over WoT, and I love the little video after you get killed of what the shell did to your tank. Doesn't seem to be infested with retards quite as much as WoT either, at least at the moment.

One thing i'm find more and more sucky about WOT, is the inbalance of how much XP you get for killing vs scouting. I appreciated a good scout deserves the XP, but..............

Case in Point:

I might start again.

I have about 10 tier 10 tanks and a few premium 8's like the type59.

Kinda got bored after the clan I was in [HARD] split and diluted. We used to be top dogs back in the day...

For the reasons noted by andym 2 years ago, dumb is smart in World of Foo games due to the reward mechanism that they all use.

In order to not dissuade Ensign McNoobrush, you get the bulk of your potential reward for making a minimal contribution. Performing well adds increasingly marginal extra reward to that.

So rushing, getting in a few hits and (deliberately) dying as fast as possible nets you at least 2x as much goodstuffs per hour as playing carefully to win. 100% loss is more rewarding than 50% win.

I got rather a sadface when I crunched the numbers on that. Crying or Very sad

Never could get into WOT, felt to arcade-y.

Much prefer WT on historic battles, except when i shoot at ab IS2 at point blank range and get no penetration.
