If you live in a respectable neighbourhood, I'd skip these. The so called baffles are non existant. And one of my neighbours just stared at me when I started it.

Other than that though, they're fucking SWEEET!!

I think they are tbh. Got tired of playing around with them, and ballsed up the brackets by putting them on the wrong bit. But they're on for now, so I'm happy. Evotech tailtidy to be ordered soon.

They hang out a bit far, and quite low. Leaving a lot of space between the seats. Which I'm not too fond of.

No doubt you'll come out to your bike every other morning to find it on its side. You'll just need to check the tread pattern of the boot used to match it up with the neighbour.

Tell that to Harvey Dent. He might kill you for saying it, on the other side of the coin, he might not.

Who the chuff is Harvey Dent??? Google points towards some kind of Batman figure, is this some kind of reference that I'd need to be a couch potato to understand??

Having checked your posts and profile and threads I see you are a live eat and sleep bikes type.
Commendable but you are missing out on a lot of other fun stuff, like cinema for instance.
Each to their own mate. But if I'm a couch potato then you are a bike bore.

Haha, no I do cinema and a lot of other stuff besides bikes, believe it or not, and I didn't mean to suggest you were a couch potato (not that I mind being called a bike bore - especially on a forum centred around, um, bikes! Laughing ).

However, any chance you could enlighten me on the Harvey Dent reference???

Sure, he's a supervillain in the Batman universe.
He has a face normal on one side and messed up on the other.
He decides if his victims live or die with a flip of a double headed coin
which like his face is undamaged on one side and messed up on the other.

Here's when you first see his face in the most recent movie incarnation
(Where you get popcorn in tubs the size of the OPs cans Laughing Just to keep it on topic ish.)
Great special effects he really looks badly injured.

Far too much information on the subject here---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-Face
Compiled by actual couch potatos Laughing

I had the 225mm version for 6 months and just had to admit defeat, it was too loud.
I can't begin to imagine what 2 high level cans sound like Smile

Buy yourself some ear plugs....and your neighbours!

I had the 300mm on my ER-6 hated it, just loud rather than building up to loud. It doesn't burble at idle, just makes noise.

Pigeon wasn't keen on following me.

Don't remove the baffles if you want to keep in with the neighbours.

Not a fan of Delkevics. Also, check the weld on the attachment for the baffle, mine snapped and the baffle LITERALLY fell out. They a sent me new one FOC, but still.

Pigeon, I'm going to undertake the strategy of walking it to the end of the road before I start it. No doubt I'm gonna get fed up with that after a while. Ear plugs are a must I think.

It definitely is loud from the get go. But at the same time it does still build up to loud which is bad. Very, very bad. Going round the corner on it yesterday, I found myself trying to change up earlier than usual just to try and keep the noise down. It didn't really work.

Pigeon wasn't keen on following you? Now you make me feel bad for the poor sods that are gonna be behind me.

For their pricing compared to Akra's, they're superb, but I think I'm gonna have to swap it after a few months of recovering from buying these, to something a bit more tame.

Should have listened to Delkevic when they said they weren't DVSA Approved. Just wasn't expecting them to be that loud with the baffles in.

Oh well.
