HI everyone ,I'm new to the forum and new to trackdays so go go easy .
The mid life crisis is gathering pace , so it's time to forget mx and get a road bike and do some trackdays.
However , I'm married with a child AND self employed. So I wanna insure my nuts off in case I cant work due to a prang .
Can anyone recommend a "good" insurance company ?
I've had quotes from totally for a lot per month . However, the salesman who was dead keen for me to buy a £70 per month policy , is now trying to steer me away from it. Consequently I now don't trust him.....
I am expecting to pay a lot but I'm buggered if I can find any policies. ...

Cheers peeps

I'd say you're 10000x more likely to die/incur injury riding on the road than a trackday.

To me this seems like an odd thing to offer someone "Pay us 70 a month.. if you injure yourself we'll give you loads of money until you're better"

I still stick by the fact that road riding is far more dangerous, not sure I stated they weren't dangerous... but yes, I do understand your want to look after your family.

He is right, track riding is SO much safer, still dangerous of course, but safer overall.

Try these chaps, they did my track insurance abroad, they might do UK if you are that worried, and I paid 15 quid for 4 days cover;

If you are in Novices, I personally wouldn't worry too much, but each to their own Wink

I saw MetLife mentioned on TrackDayRiders forum, have a look at that.

What life assurance / critical illness policies do you currently hold? With who? Principle exclusions relating to motorcycle or motorsport based injuries?
