[Now gone...]

Hi folks,

After 2.5 years I've decided to sell my black Evo 8 GSR as I've just put a deposit down on a C63 AMG. Since I only do about 5000m a year anyway I can't justify keeping the Evo as a backup car! :shake:

It's on 75k miles, with the exception of the Evo 9 style vortex generator which was added by a previous owner is cosmetically completely standard.

The engine was remapped by Jamie @ EvoTune in Durham, he fitted a larger fuel pump and it made 363hp, though the boost was leaking from the BOV slightly at that point, the leak was later fixed but it wasn't re-dynoed. May be making a tad more power therefore.

The suspension is the OEM Bilstein shocks from an MR/9, with Swift SportMach springs, which are slightly lower than stock and give a great ride.

The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1s and have tons of tread left in them.

Everything on the car works as it should, it drives perfectly, starts every time. I can honestly say that in the time I've owned this car it has been the most reliable car I've ever had - the only thing I've had to do other than service it is replace the radiator, which was weeping slightly from the top where the plastic seal is. Other than that it hasn't even blown a bulb, I can't believe how reliable it's been.

I've had it serviced numerous times by Jamie @ EvoTune, most recently just about 100 miles ago where he did the full service - replacing all fluids, spark plugs, etc.

It's always been kept clean, thoroughly warmed up, paintwork always waxed, and I had it professionally undersealed too (receipt present).

It has a full service history with tons of receipts including for tyres, paint protection chemicals, etc.

The timing belts were replaced by Jamie @ EvoTune in 2012, he looked after the car for the previous owner, they were done at 48k so are good till about 93k.

It's located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Happy to do test drives but I will be the only one driving, unless you're willing to leave a full deposit in which case you're welcome to take a drive yourself to confirm you're happy.

I also have for sale a spare set of 4 wheels which are fitted with Continental Winter Contact tires, these are practically brand new with almost all tread left, I'll let the new buyer take those for an additional £400 if desired.

Cheers,
Rich
