I ended up using jubilee clip and some metal cable ties to hold the peg on. It has lasted since September'ish. Definitely need to get it welded as there is no room behind the bracket that snapped to put anything there, not even a slim roofers nut to bolt the foot peg back on.

I am up to about 36,000 mile. I have had no other issues, but I really haven't really used it in 2014. I missed half the rallies I went on in 2013 and barely used it for work past June except commuting. MOT this year and third winter, so I guess I will find out how well it has lasted.

Gutted.

Turns out last weeks calamity was worse than originally thought. The plate holding the sump plug & strainer cracked. Must have dumped oil up the M25. Engine is now seized.

For those interested in how long a Sinnis lasts, the above image is of my second set of clocks at 43,251km. The first set reached 22,500km. So my £1500 Sinnis Trackstar achieved 65,751km! About 41,000 mile in real money.

Does mean I overstated it in my post in the other thread but stuff it. For a £1500 bike that still looks as good as my one does, I'll take that.

Last thoughts and final review will appear later this week.

My condolences for your loss. Crying or Very sad

I have killed three vehicles in April. In fact I killed them within one week of each other. I know your pain. I am going to look for a Trackstar 250...

I have too many ideas about bikes.
