1996 CBR600 SOLD

I find my little 1996 CBR 600 lacking something (or maybe I miss my old M900) and so I am looking to change.

I spent a while looking for a good one and this is one of them. It's a great bike, pulls well through the gears and is surefooted through the corners. The bodywork is pretty much unmarked, no cracks or damage and it is completely standard other than the Micron end can.

It has km clocks so presumably it was a parallel import back in the day and has almost 28000kms on the clocks with a pile of old MoTs to back it up. I've got the original handbook and I can throw in the Haynes.

I bought it back in August and replaced the air filter with standard and did the oil and filter. The plugs were also a great colour. When I changed the airfilter it was pretty obvious that no-one had been in there bodging things.

I have also put on new tyres, Michelin Pilot Power 2's, which seem to suit the bike.

There are 3 previous owners, the guy I bought it off got it in 2002!

The couple of minor bits and some wear and tear here and there (it is almost 20 years old!). The cam chain did rattle when I bought it (a common problem, if they aren't used the adjuster can stick) but new oil and a few runs have quietened it back down and it doesn't any more.
