So I need to make this decal smaller, print it off then give it to a graphics company to scan and reproduce. Is there any software that I can mess about with to make it that anyone knows of. I guess to be accurate it will have to be some sort of professional thing?

If you get a better photo I can recreate that for you in Illustrator.

See if this worked.

(.SVG file inside zip archive.)

Edit. Nah. came out a bit rubbish. Squashed on the conversion for some reason.

Anyway best way is to trace the outline path over the top of the original on inkscape and fill it.

If you're stuck on the first couple of letters, they're off an old triumph logo which is readily downloadable.

I'd go for a more authentic logo meself
that looks a bit naff imo, like it came out of a shower cubicle Laughing
Not the wear, the actual design

You have three caps in TRI and three lower case in ton
If you want a more authentic period ( 60s) look
I'd search google for something like this
https://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/classic_bikes/triton-wideline-1960.jpg

or this
https://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/classic_bikes/triton.jpg

All caps see? R only loops to the N

Vectorise this

An authentic 60's look would be to either:

1) Hand paint it with enamel how you think it should look.

or

2) Go to your local motorcycle dealers. Buy two waterslip tank logo decals for each brand. Get busy with a craft knife.

The result of the latter would be something along the lines of the image attached below which I did using an electronic craft knife and digital decals.

Gonna go with Paddys which is a copy of the original. (Thanks Paddy). As for more authentic, that says to me the same look as everyone else. The beauty of Tritons is build them have you want them. The parts on mine have raised a few eyebrows with some of the old boys still into them. Very Happy

As it stands at the moment ...
