Just thought I'd share this.

I picked it up for $450AUD (about 240 of your shit currency) last week as a basket case, and here's the finished product.

Parts I didn't have are as follows:

A tail light, tail section, seat, tail tidy... basically a back end.

I've since fitted a CBR600RR tail, along with the spare seat from my Ducati 1198S, as well as the stock tail tidy from it.

It fits almost like it was made to, especially the seat.

The paint job isn't the best if you're a perfectionist, but it's passable. If you saw the state of the rest of the panels before, you'd understand. They were crashed out and full of holes, as well as being made of GRP and harder to repair than plastic.

20,000rpm is... nice, even if it is slow as shit.

Yeah I agree, fuck buying parts when I've got spares that can be made to fit.

There's so many of those rubbish tyga kits over here though. If that's not polishing a turd, I'm not sure what is.

it's ridiculous.

Learners have a "pre learners" course, which is less in depth than a CBT, you don't even ride on the road, just around a carpark.

You can then ride up to 660cc Shocked

No power restrictions though, other than the learner legal bikes.

What? Car park ride then you can go out on a -660? What's the test like after?

same deal, but you've got to do a U-turn Rolling Eyes

check this shit:

https://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/licence/rider/motorcycle-operator-skill-test.html

it explains why the standard of riding/driving over here is so bad when compared. I feel like a bawss on the road.

Jesus, that's almost as bad as the Indian driving test.

Was in Aus almost 20 years ago, in Victoria. There the drivers were pretty awful. Not aggressive just asleep (except the taxi drivers). My assumption was it was due to the OTT speeding tickets. But we dig go to a computer show where Vic Roads were showing off there multiple choice test of their highway code; worrying when we got 100% having never read their Highway Code where the couple beside us were lousy!

All the best

i had a cbr250 when i was on my learners in nz, after the rgv it was a bit of a let down but the sheer amount of revs produced was cool Very Happy
