Hello guys, basically i was set to go on a 6 week ex to kenya and before the day i was due to go my mate asked to have a go on my bike so i let him have a go but he put the wrong key in and snapped it in the ignition barrel, i now have replaced the ignition barrel and have 2 new keys for it, but when i go to turn it on i can turn on the engine all lights horn and everything function but the bike wont turn on at all it dont want to fire up, people have been trying to say its because of the hiss and ecu not reading the keys and stuff but i dont think the 2003 hornet has a hiss system can someone help me out on what the problem could be ?

Was it a genuine ignition? Some of the Honda ignitions have a resistor in them which drops the ECU voltage, pattern ones often miss this out.
