Yamaha YBR 125 - 61 Reg (2011) - Silver - 8046 miles - removable top box with wireless FOB included
Silver Yamaha YBR 125
61 Plate (Registered on 02/09/2011)
8046 miles (may increase by the time you come look at it as it is still my daily driver)
2 previous owners prior to my purchase on 24/08/2013.
I bought it with about 2.5k miles on it, and I have used it every day to commute to work 13 miles round trip a day. So it has been used regularly.
Starts first time every time by pressing ignition button due to (PGM-FI) fuel injection starter (no choke or manual kick starter like the older YBR models). Very reliable cheap commuter and general runaround bike.
I get 100MPG mixed. Have a look at my fulley profile for proof here:

Have uploaded video of me walking around the bike and starting it up, etc. You can view it here:

Comes with the following: -
Key for ignition / fuel cap
All documents: i.e. V5 registration certificate, Service history manual, owner manual, most receipts from myself plus previous owners, HIP check from the previous owner (to make sure there was no finance remaining).
Coocase Fusion V28 top box pre installed / wired and ready to use.
Wireless FOB with spare key to put on keyring. The FOB also has a key on it in case you ran out of baterry on the FOB.
Just under 12 months road tax (Expires 31/07/16)
MOT is next due on 21/09/15. (Should cost a tenner due to no service required)
Last serviced 20/02/15 incl. oil change, chain tightening.
New Bridgestone front and rear tyres installed on 03/09/2014 and have done about 1.5k miles on them so far so plenty of tread on the rear, front is still immaculate. Also had the garage install a new sprocket and chain kit as the old one was rusty. This cost me about £200
Also comes with Coocase Fusion V28 top box installed and wired up to the battery directly. This comes with a wireless FOB (as well as a key on the FOB and a seperate key to sit on your keyring for manual locking/unlocking) which you can press to lock/unlock the top box or to remove the top box and take with you. Very handy and no fumbling for keys when you want to access your top box. Also when you brake, the top box LED lights light up red for extra visibility to the traffic behind you. Fits a full face helmet and then some. This cost about £100 (including labour to fit it and wire it up)
You can see the specs here:

Replaced the stock battery for the best battery on the market. A MOTOBATT MBTX7U- YTX7L-BS. It has the most cranking amps you can get for an aftermarket battery and is much better than the original one. Great for those freezing mornings, you never have to have doubt, just peace of mind. This cost me £50. Bought the battery here:

I am male, 5'6" with an inside leg of 29 (yup a shorty!), and I can have both my feet flat on the floor at standstill. The bike weighs very little so is easy to manually push into tight parking spaces as well as filter and sit at lights with no hands on the wheel. So women riders should not fear this bike either.
5 gears and red line is at 12/13K RPM. For best MPG, i recommend top gear at 5100 RPM which gets you moving at 40mph and about 120MPG! That is over 300 miles per tank (which usually costs about £15 for 12.7 litres if you fill it to the brim ). I however drive it in the city in heavy traffic so get about 90 MPG. Weekends on the dual carriageways, i see 120MPG. My personal top speed is 72MPH on a straight even road.
If you have just taken your CBT and in the market for a manual 125, this is the bike to get. Forget the sporty looking cousin (YZF125), that just drinks more fuel, higher insurance, more chance of getting nicked by joyriders. This bike is in insurance group 4, you sit up straight and don't put pressure on the wrists as you do with the YZF125. I am 34 years old with 2 years no claims and my quote for this year is £130.
As you can see from my detailed honest description, pics, youtube vid, I want this to go to someone who will care for the bike and learn how to ride in London safely. This bike is so forgiving, I never once dropped the bike. You will never have to travel on the packed tube again! Although i bought this bike 2 years ago for £1600, I have spent a fair bit of money on tyres, chain, sprocket, top box, motor oil, regular services and most importantly cleaning the chain and sprocket every 100 miles using WURTH brake and chain cleaner and WURTH lubricant. This is the best (and i tried a lot of them), just check amazon feedback.
What are you waiting for? Contact me for a test ride via mobile / sms / whatsapp / email. Based in Fulham, London, SW6 near Putney Bridge. Quick sale price of £1350 ono. No timewasters please.
Look forward to meeting you! ____________________ Yamaha YBR 125 Silver 2011
