New DRZ 400S.

Standard apart from a stupid slip on and an overkill skid pan.

Mods planned;

- 3x3 airbox mod
- up jet
- new exhaust

That headlight isn't standard either.

New tail tidy would look good too. Smile

I'd like a DRZ, but it always looks weird to me, the back end always looks like it's sloping down? Confused

The thing is though, there is nothing else out there along a similar vein, unless you start looking at the mid-late nineties, in which case the DRZ out-classes them, or if you start looking at modern enduro bikes, where they seem a bit too hardcore for me, I like lazier engines more than the fire breathers that are the 450 enduro bikes. I've never rode a 450 and not come close to falling off the back, but then again I suck.

The stock suspension is made for tiny Japanese people, I had to get a new spring for mine, then a jack up kit to get it looking and feeling right. Made a massive difference.

Nice bike OP, you got the fastest colour too Very Happy Very Happy

Slight update;

Went out for a ride and got a few more pics.

Here you can see the bodge of a baffle for the exhaust -

Got stuck in a marsh, luckily I managed to pull it out on my own! -

Suspension isn't too bad, overall I'd say its something to try but not as a main everyday bike.
It needs a new exhaust pronto and indicators.
