After passing my Mod 2 about 3 weeks ago I was planning to keep the 125 street through winter for commuting as it was doing fine with it. I nearly bought and fzs600 the other week but was outbid. I was holding out for a nice fzs600, that was the plan.

The Mrs talked me into advertising the bike last week, might as well put it out there I thought, just to see if there was any interest. I was talking to a garage the other day and he said now is the time to sell 125 as they go for a bit more and by a big bike as they are a bit cheaper.

I only had it advertised for 2 days, and after a few stupid offers I had a buyer!

So on the weekend I bought myself a new bike, 1999 SV650, after hearing the sound of it and it looked in mint condition I was sold on it.

First ride to work on it this morning at 04:30 and it was so much nicer than the 125. lol

I meant to put a post up about my Mod 2, it was a breeze, only one minor which was starting the bike! didn't notice the stand had only gone half way back so kept cutting out when put into gear!
The examiner followed me in a car, if I am honest I think it made it a bit easier and less pressure.

Good job, well played, top notch and so on.

Yes, being followed by a car is less distracting - bad weather on test is your best friend. Wink

Anything with more power than something that just about sits at the speed limit comfortably is a win, congrats on the pass. Thumbs Up
