Why would I travel all the way to Donington for one feature race? Then they're expecting locals to pay two entry fees if they want to see both races.

There'll probably be fewer TV viewers on a Saturday as well. Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot.

I would travel for one feature race. Done it quite a few times for Moto GP.

I would hope the ticket prices would reflect on the reduction of races you can see in a day though, as this would annoy quite a few fans..

I’m sure many of us have, including going abroad. GPs are a different kettle of fish though, especially when the WSB field is so lacking compared to yesteryear. We'll have to see about ticket prices.

BSB can be gimmicky but they’d have been better off stealing some of their ideas (3 races at the popular events, maybe a ‘showdown’).

Hey, that gives me 2 opportunities to not bother going.

No it won't and some WSBK riders are in agreement.

Pivotal...Indeed.

Thing is there were some good races this year. The bikes are sophisticated and the field has plenty of good riders (lots of championship winners) but they're in danger of breaking WSBK by trying to fix it.

How about reducing the amount of paid staff in each team and not paying some racers stupid wages, whilst those at the back virtually pay for a ride with what sponsorship they can bring.
How about free access to the paddock area during the whole event. My kid loved it at BSB when we saw them working on crashed bikes at Cadwell and Oulton. Riders are wandering about and happy to pose for photos.
Admission prices for BSB are good and always less expensive than WSBK.

I hope they manage to rescue it.

Going to watch racing live is pretty rubbish for actually following the race, much better on TV. I'll often go more to soak up the atmosphere and have a nose about so one or two races wouldn't really matter much to me.

It just means when I watch it on TV I'll probably just watch the main race at whatever time it's on rather the all the support races in between the two main races.

Will be interesting to see if the Sunday tickets are now cheaper as only one main race or if the just bump up the price of Saturday to match.
