Been bikeless for 9 years. Thought a 1000cc V-twin would be a good idea. Loving it Thumbs Up

Enjoy it Thumbs Up

I enjoyed mine when I had it. They do have a tendency to be slightly, errrrr....... thirsty! But the sound from the pipes outweighs the cost of fuel!

looks very nice. What was the damage on the wallet? Thinking of one of these myself.

Known for being very thirsty, something like 30MPG, even cruising along the motorway at constant speed. I'm fairly sure they use some kind of afterburner and just dump petrol into the exhaust to consume so much fuel. They are really cool though. Very Happy

Paid £1250 for it. Bit of a bargain. Only done 18k.

Not quite right, they use petrol to cool down the rear cylinder. VTR SP01/02 is the same. I think most of the V2's do that.

That looks really tidy.

Daughter of the guy who ran a local bike shop has one. Properly mental, wheelies everywhere, ate tyres and brakes and required far too much time and money (and that was just his description of the rider). I think he was trying to sell me the crusty old but almost as batshit Yamaha Maxim parked out front. I'm not crazy enough.

Side mount radiators are really vulnerable to damage from stupid drops, I'd highly recommend investigating some protection in the way of crash bungs and being super careful in your frequent trips to petrol stations.
