I'm looking to replace my Nite ize s-biner. It's bulky, and the keys detach themselves far too regularly for my liking. It's a miracle I've not lost a key yet.

I've searched high and low for a suitable keyring system, but I can't seem to find anything that I can use.

Requirements:
2-3 detatchable slice lock keyrings (like this: https://www.keyring.com/deluxe-pull-apart-key-ring.aspx )
Small and compact (even the nite ize is too big for the bike)
Not have a belt clip
Not be Chinese tat

Does anyone know of anything that might be useful to me?

Thanks,

Dale

Carabiners are usually around 10cm in length though - not exactly small.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Dale

I use these - they're a bit more flexible than carabiners, but work just as well.

It not might be what you want but it might help others. If you put a ring of lanyard on a keyring you can feed the keys back through the lanyard and form a loop around something. It doesn't weigh anything but its harder to unclip.

WRT the 'mini' screw lock carabiners, has anyone bought them from Amazon?

I'd like a few but the reviews are really odd. Half of them seem to be broken (e.g. screw lock fails), the others are full of "I have been paid for this review but it's good honest". Some of them have 200 paid reviews, wtf? Laughing

Many thanks for any linkage...

Seen some advertised on Facebook that looked really useful, basically two flat bars with a pin at either end that you thread the key onto and a traditional loop at one end for a car key.

They wanted £15 though, which I thought was a lot for two shims and pins.

Edit: I realise this is useful information, but I have no idea what they were called.

Like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/OneTigris-Wiregate-Carabiner-Bushcraft-Emergency/dp/B00OTLB7A8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474031574&sr=8-2&keywords=double+ended+carabiner

I also use a carabiner, just an el cheapo. Does the trick and I've had it for ages.
