I've come up with a one-page questionnaire for you to help me along the way.

This was your 1st post and you're immediately 'on the want'.

Maybe if you were a biker and had been on here for a while then you'd have got a better response.
Well a very slightly more polite response telling you not to waste your time.

If you've got some spare time you could even try a 'search' on here to see if you're one of the first 100 people to come up with this same idea in the last 10 years (and to ask people to do a survey in their 1st post as well), for something that won't come to anything.

When you decide that maybe you could do the same thing with bicycles, I'd suggest you try doing some research on their forums before asking them to do a survey that won't come to anything...

Well it's certainly very very old, but I'm not sure if it can still be called funny...

The P/X princes matched what dealers were offering me on my Nazi Tractor a few years back. Your mileage / offers may vary. Sellers of course know what their bike is wurth all daylong m8 its an apreshiating clasik dont wast my tiem

Perfect. Thanks. No need for another clasified anymore.
It's one area where it's nice to have one or two people with a huge chunk of the market share.

Well there could be a market for it, we could all do with a place that automatically prettys everything up for you on a listing - full caps lock, bold, remove line breaks, that sort of thing.

Add in default clauses - no time wasters, listed elsewhere and whatnot. Oh and a drop box with a selection of genuine reasons for sale. Randomly generate a value of collectability.

Hmm I better keep a few ideas back incase I learn some php.

What's missing from current bike classifieds is the vlogging element.

Imagine how mega it would be if you could register, upload your videos and gain thousands of followers. You could add features to automatically post updates to bike forums, saving the trouble of interacting with the inhabitants. And then, when you are ready to sell, you could push out ads so they could then buy your bike of awesomeness that they'd been watching you ride! Definitely be a premium service as people would love to be able to buy vlog-star bikes and boast to their mates.

I'm sure that most BCFers would be desperate to be part of this social classifieds revolution.

OP you are one of the reasons why modern life sucks, big time!

You do not have the courage to back up your own convictions, instead you want to base your product on the wishy washy, mediocre, views of the general public. You're typical of a generation of social meeja airheads who can't do anything unless they've sought prior validation from there, fake, social meeja friends.
If your idea is so good, put it out there, and say Middle Finger you to your detractors, if the product is good enough it will prosper!
Committees do not come up with original thoughts!

Mind you, OP, your behaviour in this thread marks you out as ungrateful little turd, so you and your survey can FRO and good riddance! Middle Finger

HTH!
