A small plate dosent make you uninsured.
I don't know why you bother getting insurance in the first place.
I have been crashed into 3 times in cars by uninsured drivers.
2 got banned and the other is going to court soon.
Only what they deserve.

How many days until this is moved to F+FW i wonder?

My bike is derestricted (supposedly) but i have never seen more than 75mph out of it anyway so i dont believe it. I ride as legally as possible, as safe as possbible, i currently have a small plate (only cos the last guy was a nob) but i am going to take it off. I agree in some ways in derestricting 50s but not in others, eg:

Thumbs Up A bike is safer on major roads at 45-50mph than at 25mph, and have a bit more speed to get out of trouble on some occasions isnt a bad idea.

Thumbs Down It also means that there is a chance the ped boys will ride around town as fast as possible

Thumbs Down Its illegal, no insurance, no nothing, tough shit to you with the big bill.

Thumbs Down Bikes are restricted for a reason, wether people agree or not, to improve safety and introduce you to biking without any real lessons safely and easily.

Those are my thoughts.

As on many occasions i am going to join the 'dont throw money at a 50, wait and get a bigger bike' club. Karma

Ah leave him be. We all break the law at some point or another, just let that lad carry on and enjoy his bike. He knows the consequences and its only his concern. Thumbs Up

No point arguing over it. Smile
