What's everyone on about, black guys love bikes. Notice who stops and looks when your going past on a bike? It's mostly black people I find.

Admittedly I live in a black area (north london) so I do see a lot of them on bikes, they love their R6's and R1's. One thing you'll find is that they don't go to bike meets, they go out with their friends on bikes but never really to any proper meets.

out of the 9 people i kno well that ride bikes

rg125 - black
gsxr750 - black
zxr400 - white
zxr400 - black
tl1000 - black
r6 - white
zx6r - white
blade - black
blade - black

so there is an equalish ratio i just think you guys dont see the colour of skin behind a helmet

so you cant make any correlation between colour/bikes or say that its only white people that ride bikes

also i agree with Gti it is very geographical related due to the ethnic diversity

i declare all this an In My Experience post totally

sorry for the minor rant plus its not really in the right topic

I also agree with GTI. Thumbs Up

I have seen black riders on bikes in every place I've ridden in, and have seen black riders at meets.

They love my bike Laughing. Have had pretty much every black dude I've met complement the bike. Cool

I also think because there are many more white people compared to black people in Britain, it is obvious that there would be many more white riders.

OK, now, has anyone seen a black lady rider? Razz

I've been to well over a hundred big bikemeets and loads more rideouts, and I could count the number of black riders I've seen on both hands probably. There's is definately nowhere near an equal ratio, I'd say about 3-4% of bikers are black. And ofcourse you can see someones colour through a helmet, you can see their face and neck can't you.

It just depends on where you live. The nearest town to me is an old mining town. I haven't ever even seen a black person there, never mind riding a bike. That's not to say there aren't plenty of black people riding bikes, it's just I can't say I've ever seen or noticed them.
But then, who would? Leather from top to toe and full face helmets make people generally unidentifiable.

Well I live in Birmingham, so I'll consider myself qualified to give a reasonable assessment of the black biker populace.

There are loads of black riders.
I go out riding with with my mates but when i ive gone out to some bike meets ive usually go with my irish mates so ure right there arent many black riders at meets.
Streetfighter sunday at the ace cafe is the best! Very Happy

Last summer though choice FM did a charity ride out for Diabetes UK & i couldnt belive what i saw.
U guessed it, there were around 60 to 80 bikers and id say that around 85% of the bikers were black and 10% were white and the other 5% were other.
The ride out was from Borough in london to Brighton and its was very well organised and was a great day out whether u were black, white or other.

Look at what they did to my bike at streetfighter sunday at the ace cafe in london when i went looking for the keys to my bike cos i thought i had lost them.

Even more fun cleaning all that vulcanised rubber from your swingarm, undertray, hugger, rearsets and can! Laughing
