Hmmm... "What happened next?"
A) Back wheel grips, highside, bloke thrown over handlebars.
B) Back wheel loses more grip and bike lowsides off the track.
C) By some miracle bloke saves the slide and then spends the next month telling people he did it on purpose and it was all under control |

apparently there is a video somewhere out there in clickyland but I can't find it. I think this photo was taken in Australia at Oron Park raceway, I think from looking at this photo you can see his throttle hand is in the 100% closed position and is a split second away from the massive catapault highside ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

If you can do it on a supermoto...
Still, would probably be a bit harder on a sports bike... |

yep considering that the standard rear shock absorber on a ZX-636R has about 15mm of movement, it was nice to see that kawasaki has fitted a shock absorber that actually absorbs to the 2005 ZX-6R ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

I think that the rear is too far round and has too much momentum for a highside. My moneys on the rear attempts to overtake the front dong a kinda 180 lowslide with he and the bike parting company shortly before the gravel trap |

Bugger...
I had a pic somewhere of a Gixxer doing some tyre testing, similar to the above but much more controlled and very cool.
I also have McCoy drifting his Kawasaki during testing but can't post an Mpeg for some reason.... ____________________ Old bikes >>> https://www.bikepics.com/members/cc123/ |

yeah I have seen that clip before it is unreal how he does that hey I also have a video of Freddie Spencer backing it in at Las Vegas racetrack in a test ride of the Honda CBR1000RR it is absolutely terrifying how the wheel just steps out and screams for traction at around 160kmph also you can only post MPEG's in the video section I believe ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |
