heres a stoppie pic from the trackday I just went too I think this is about as close as it gets to a faceplant for a stoppie! the guy didn't crash either but if you look closeley you can see his fingers aren't trying to squeeze that brake lever anymore Shocked

Was he doing it deliberately? Or trying to brake too fast and fuked it up? Looks cool either way, have seen higher though (will find some pics later maybe)

High but judging by his body position etc. looks like he screwed up... you don't let go of the brake like that on an intentional stoppie unless you're 'thinking' you're going to flip.

You'll be suprised how many people do actually.. theres a few people on stuntlife.com that just let go off the brake intentionally Shocked But I agree it does look like he's f**ked it up a bit, looks cool tho Cool If his right hand was still on the brake then it'd have looked intentional and more cool Cool

p..s how did they let him on track with just jeans on? Shocked

Would be pretty messy letting a stoppie down with no brake control, fell sorry for their suspension Smile

Surely he wouldn't be able to pull a stoppie like that by accident? You think he might have tried to break too hard and the back wheel went up that high? I don't have much experience in riding sports bike but I really doubt that would happen. Has that ever happened to anyone?

If he was going way too fast, paniced and braked it could happen.. I've seen people do it accidentaly in supermoto racing Shocked

No idea if he's doing it deliberately or accidentaly in that pic, cool pic whatever though.

the trackday was open to people wearing at least a riding jacket made of either fabric or leather and 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of draggin jeans (kevlar reinforced) or leather pants the guy in the picture did a fair amount of these stoppies and each time I was watching him land I would cringe as the back end slammed down with a crunch Mad he did a few one handers too which were awesome but still terrified to see the back end go up and out evey time though! Shocked

Can't believe they let you out without leathers on.

Over here they'd boot you off the track for stunting.

the trackdays over here are set up in a way to keep everybody happy first up is the C class riders thats for slow beginners like my self to start out in then the intermediate B class followed by the fast A class after that they have the expression session, in that people are free to pull wheelies, stoppies rolling burnouts and other assorted mister meanor activities you can have a look at this page if you like, it has heaps of photos from stunts, bikes and babes and of course the A, B and C class trackrides. I was in the slow C class, although I was beating some of the riders in A class in track times Wink wooohoo! https://gallery.duncraig.net/psbtrackday05
