Few pics attached of the first stages of prepping the pitbike for the LCRRC South of England Pitbike Supermoto Championship (bit of a long title, lol)
Not looking too bad considering the state it ended up in not long ago
Some mods include; bbr gear selector, bbr seat, shorty levers, renthal grips, renthal R1 chain, Red Bull can (track requirement for carburettor overflow pipes), progressive fork springs, 25% stiffer rear spring, new plastics, Pro Taper bars, Braided hose, extended lines (clutch etc.), Uni air filter, upgraded chain roller.
Supermoto tyres will be on next week... feel free to call me a tart |

lol. It's expensive but not as expensive as you think. I've got most of my stuff from the States so the gear works out half the price sometimes even 1/3.
I'd say I've spend a grand all in (including the bike from new), in the Pro class the riders are using bikes worth £5000-£6000
Tracks like Lydd in Kent, one in Dorset etc. |
