If they had still done Roulette Green I would have had one!!

But the mods they have made to this model are really worth the upgrade from my old one.. the new one is one hell of a beast (even though I can only go to 5000 revs at the moment!!)

The 1050 engine is sooo smooth and powerful.. it handles better, the brakes are sharper and the gearchange is much smoother than my old one! Roll on 1000 miles so I can fully enjoy her! Wink

I prefered the shape/look of the old one too, to be honest. But the updated brakes/engine etc sounds cool Cool

It bike, to me, is actually physically small. I saw one at the bike show and was surprised at quite how stumpy it was. Which is a good thing as it looks different. Brutally different Twisted Evil

P.S Yeah about that number plate hanger, I was trying to be polite in my first post. Go email bomb triumph to come out with an aftermarket jobbie!!! (or whoever makes them) as it seems to hang bang a ridiculous amount.

How much did you sell the old one for?

I want that one! Laughing
But having said that id also be happy to swap my zx6r for the old green one lol! Ive seen what can be done to them and they are a brilliant bike!
Ive seen one of the pink ones in a french mag with an MV F4 tail unit one, and underseat pipes, it also had a huge pair of Ohlins forks, with thick polished yokes, mmmn!
Then theres the one with the supercharger kit i saw at the NEC last year!
Yes i want a speedtriple alright!

Yes, if all you were going to do is stay below 1000 rpm.

That's nice. I saw them at the bike show and think the new model looks much better than the old one. It's one of the few naked non-sports bikes that I could be tempted into buying (after the KTM Superduke).

No, that's not putting any (variable) stress on the engine which is the whole point of running in.

Very nice indeedy. Smile I see that you went with the fly-screen - I hope that you negotiated that into the price! ...but where are the race cans? To be fitted after the first service?

Gah, seconded - you are a lucky bastard. Wink

With the tiny rear end on it you'll soon be laughing at other people's puny 12 o' clock wheelies... you can go even further. In theory. Very Happy
