Thought I would record my bike ride to my 10 mile hike to Luib Chonnal which goes on Braeroy road from Roy Bridge through Glen Roy and The Parallel Roads in the Scottish Highlands.
Its very remote here and the scenery is absolutely stunning.
I only saw one group of people on my hike throughout the whole day, but this video is just of the bike ride on my CB300R to get to the start of it.
The Parallel Roads are not actual roads but shorelines left behind during the ice age as the glaciers moved through the valleys.
At certain points lakes were formed which were dammed by ice.
I find it amazing that at a point in time the whole area was under ice and then water.
If any of you are up in Scotland you should definitely ride this 8 mile route (16 miles return)
I went slow as I wanted to take in the scenery plus I was too scared to go any faster. The road is tarmac but has gravel all over the place and alot of sheep poo everywhere so on a bike have to be extra cautious.
Heres my video of the ride:
