Foil is supposed to suitable for short, straight hair (I’ll only be trimming 2 days growth at most) while being kinder to skin than a rotary (which itself is supposed to be better for long and curlys).

I’ve got a bottle of that for use with my Wahl clippers. I haven’t been back to a barber since buying those during lockdown.
