Didn’t think Honda would bring the CBR600RR back to to Blighty.

Pleased to see it isn't yet another paralell twin styling re-boot.

Goes to show that a high revving il4 that meets euro 5+ is possible. Can't see many being sold but it may keep the supersports class alive in racing for a while longer.

The Supersport racing class has already moved on i'm afraid to say, the new regulations now allow up to 800cc Triples (Triump STR765s) and up to 1000cc twins (Ducati Panigale V2)

And if last years British Supersport championship was anything to go by, the new rules work out rather well

Aye, and il4 600s are still in that class which has to be a good thing. Not checked but hope that they'll be present at the road races too and club racing.

That 650R from 2019. Something in the back of my mind thought it wasn't sold here until 2021 (euro5 ?)

Specifically on about fully-faired super sports 600s. Arguably the best alternative to a raging 250cc 2 stroke.

They used to race in the same class in a lot of club races.

CBR650R was out from 2019 I think. Its more of a sports tourer though. Engine can trace its routes back to the 2007 Hornet IIRC.

Cool to see Honda sticking winglets on a bike thats 8 years old, but unfortunately they won't sell many to road riders.
