Hi, I’m new to motorcycles. I bought a used keeway the other day and noticed the fuel gauge has 2 black boxes. One either side of the empty and full icon which blinks continuously. When checking the manual seemed to be reserve tank. Then after fuelling it the blinking remained instead of a solid line of boxes from either side. Unsure what’s causing it? Maybe the sender? Any advice would be appreciated See image/video below:

Have you ridden it any distance since filling up?

I've only ridden it a small distance from the petrol station and back and a little around the estate. Is it possible it needs a bit more running?

Mine needs a good few miles before it will recognise the iincrease in fuel. I think it's something to do with damping out gross changes due to bumps etc.
