does anyone know what the rules are to be classed as a streetfighter?i personally thought it was to do with personal preferences. If you go back to the early mag's they were as many sports bikes as gs500's,a gt550,several trikes,a huge 6 cylinder cb1300 and my favorite an rd350 restored to near standard with a chrome frame/swinging arm and rgv250 forks and wheel's and looked stunning.

Whatever you want it to be, the original was definition was extreme performance special.

Wotcha.

Hmm - fastest bike on the planet is it ?
May I ask what colour the sky is on the planet you live on ? . . . 'cos it sure ain't the same one as me. Laughing

Just wait until the alternator nut comes loose ( as it tends to do on most Ducatis with that engine ) then you'll be the "angriest, most pissed off biker on the planet" Mr. Green

As to my free labour I have these things called friends who I do favours for.

Oh and as to your sig, if it's true why are you planning on getting a ZXR400?

Thousands isn't a set amount you prick. It doesn't have to be at least 2k, it can be anything above 1k.

What are you on about labour for, that simply adds onto the £1545 especially if the bike your working on is not a mates.

I'm not planning on getting a zxr, i've no idea where you have got that from, and a 400 imo is still a small bike. Middle Finger

Now you shut the fuck up you prick.

Ok maybe you didn't say a ZXR but I bet you don't stay on a fifty.

Thousands, the s at the end means plural I.E. more than one. Remember this, it will help in your gcse's.

Still a burger flippin fucktard who rates things as abusive that he doesn't agree with. Laughing

"Thousands" is plural, so it does have to be at least two.

[edit] ok, saw Sickpup's response saying the same thing, but I'm leaving this as is, seeing as you seem to have a problem understanding it.

Hmmm yeah of course, one quick scan through this thread reveals that the only 'abusive' rating i gave out was when you replied 'You really do talk shit.'

Burger flipping??

Of course i'm not staying on my 50, i'm getting a 400 as soon as possible, in my opinion a 400 isn't a big bike.

4 abusive ratings in the last 30 days. Didn't say this thread.

And yes I accept your apology, no doubt it's the education systems fault that you don't know the meaning of plural.

I build bikes too , used to be mostly chops and trikes but these days its streetfighters ,
Sickpup lovely job and as far as i am concerned £1545 is cheap as feck to build a bike of that standard and not wishing to take sides or anything , But Dom how many bikes have you built? and to put it bluntly what the feck do you know you ride a 50 cc.

Riding a 50cc has what to do with my knowledge of bikes?? I suppose if i bought a 600 i'd instantly gain knowledge.

I've not 'built' any bikes from scratch, or built any streetfighters etc... But I work on bikes all the time, that is my part time job.

Blacksheep.

Cheers mate. The look of the bike is down to the owner, the engine and all associatted running gear is down to me. I've always thought the bike was very high quality for the money put in and the fact that very little work has been farmed out to specialists.

Do you know UKLee?

Dom.

Yet you need help with rear wheel bearings. If you had a 600cc you still wouldn't be able to change your wheel bearings or work out what the bearings are. Tip, read that big yellow Hi-Level catalogue (looks like the yellow pages) under the parts counter at D&K and it tells you what bearings you need.

I know what bearings are, i also knew which ones i needed. SO why would i need to look in the 'hi'level' catalogue.

I needed to see whether the wheel would still be able to be used after the seat was worn away, and after taking the wheel and showing the mechanics at dk there was a mixed view as to whether it should be re-used.

Erm, i did change my wheel bearings, and the bike is fine now.

yawn.

If you knew why did you have to ask

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=45735

If the seat was worn I would have machined it out and inserted a spacer ring not chemical metal.

You are not a mechanic you are a little boy with a 50. You have next to no training and very little experience. You think you can ride well but again you have little experience. Everything you have written about on this forum is just changing parts and nothing else. Please stop deluding yourself and lieing.

Now stop yawning, have a glass of milk and go to bed. You have school in the morning and just think you can tell your english teacher that you now know what plural means.

If you actually read that thread i was asking if the rear wheel could be re-used, i wasn't asking what a bearing was. Rolling Eyes

You may have machined it out yes, but i don't have the equipment, skills or money to pay anyone to do it, so i have to do it the cheapest way.

I know i'm not a mechanic, i never said i was, nor did i say i could ride well, but again you have never seen me ride so how could you know??

The only reason i was yawning is because your crap was boring me, i mean honestly, how old are you?? And your arguing with a 16 year old over an internet forum all because i said it costs thousands to create a proper streetfighter. You need to grow up.

A street fighter is any bike which is custom in some way where it be no fairings, high rear end, custom spray job or a colection of loads of bikes made into one.

Too be fair at 16 I built my Dt50 from scratch so u dont know what he does in his spare time and saying what does he know isn't really the best was of putting it is it?? Sorry but I think there are so many people who are like 30 buy 1000cc bike and think they can ride when I was a safer and more confident rider at 16. Age is not everything.

Your right i don't know what he does in his spare time and im sure his less than 1 years riding experience makes him very good , but the point i was trying to make is that he was showing his lack of knowledge and experience by arguing a point which he obviously knows nothing about with someone who is a lot older who does have the knowledge and experience. (sickpup)
To be fair to the boy when i was 16 i thought i knew everything and was a riding god , i only had a mere 14 years of off road experience and a couple of years of knowledge of fixing my own bikes way back then.

Now i am 35 and have 33 years combined off road and road riding experience and have built more chops ,Trikes and streetfighters than i can be bothered to remember
And looking back i now understand that at 16 i knew fuck all !
and no doubt when Dom grows up he will do the same Mr. Green

Like you said, you've no idea how long i've been riding. (although you say you started off road riding at 2 years old :S)
I'm pretty competant when it comes to repairs (with my own bike) But it is only a 2t, i'd get lost in a 4t.

Where have you got the idea that i said i'm a riding god?? i've not once said that on this or any other forum!

I admit, i'm new to the streetfighter scene, but me and sickpup had a run in on a fox hunting thread, and he's held a grudge ever since, making sly remarks and comments where ever he could, thats the only reason i've been arguing with him.

Grudge, what grudge.

What fucking sly remarks, I call you a fucktard who talks shit all the time.

Maybe we should go back to this thread where you say you and your moped will "obliterate all other mopeds" so either your a riding god with a GP like development budget and a fucking good mechanic or talking shit.

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=33606&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I don't do sly remarks.
