RIght, I am looking at doing an evening tackday soon, and wondered if anyone else would be interested in doing one too.

Looking at doing Donington or Oulton, cos I can't afford the £150+ for the daytime ones and its a tad cooler in the evenings too and its cheap too.

According to a few sites I've look at you get about 4 sessions for about £50-70 so is anyone interested?

I'm not sure about evening trackdays (although I've never done one). There are a couple of things that I think might happen that put me off:

1) You just start getting into it, and it finishes.
2) Your concentration levels are cack, because you've already been up all day when you start.
3) You get home at 1am Laughing
4) The organiser's are not too arsed, because they've been at it all day with the normal trackday.

All of these may be unfounded of course, but they're the reasons that have put me off in the past.

Craig, it's only really the big, full circuits that cost £150+ (Donington GP (full noise), Oulton Park and Brands GP). I've even done the full Silverstone circuit for £85!

Just get your £160 out and come to Donington on Tuesday... weather reports are saying 23 degrees C! Mr. Green

Evening track days suck, for the price you could pay a bit more and do a full day at one of the smaller tracks such as cadwell, stop being a fanny! Razz

I would be happy to do an Evening trackday if it wasn't too far and it was a track I knew well.

However, if it's a track I didn't know, then I find I only 'get into it' in the afternoon - at which point you would be going home on the evening track day.

This does happen to some degree on trackdays where I know the circuit as well, but not to such a great degree.
