Highlighting Topics with Friends

How about changing the colour of topics, or using a symbol to show that your friends have posted in it? (You could even expand to give the user a list to add names for highlighting)

Like the + for the topics you have posted in, could for example have a * if friends have posted in it or ^ for enemies.

Just a thought.

That does sound like a good idea actually. There are certain forum members who post a lot of things that I find interesting, and I am more likely to read a thread if I know they have made a post in it.
