|
|
Unfortunatly, after only half a year of ownership, my race bike has to be sold, due to financial reasons. (Pictures at the bottom) Near as dam it to Superbike Specifiaction, bar standard wheels. There is also a second bike for sale, would be very easy conversion to race bike. (maybe a wet/spare bike) A full team setup for less than a road going ZX10R!!!! Read on:
TL1000R Race Bike:

Forget what is often said about TL1000's, this bike is totally different. It is about as close as you can get on a £10,000 budget to the Yoshimura Suzuki TL1000R AMA Superbike. This bike is fantastic to ride, very well set up suspension, easy to tip into corners, excellent power delivery, torque like you wouldn't believe and no problems going down through the box on the brakes, due to the slipper clutch. This is an excellent bike that would fare well in the Sound Of Thunder Championships! Weighing in at approx. 170Kg, with 150BHP, around 88 Foot pounds of torque, awesome stopping power and nicely set up suspension, this package is absolutly fantastic for the money!

This bike will make someone very happy this year! The only things you could possibly ass to make this package any better would be a quick shifter and carbon fibre wheels.

For £7300, you could be driving away with a complete team setup, two Suzuki TL1000R's!
A second bike, also in full running order complete with new engine is available as a wet/spare/second bike, or some fun for the road.
This second TL1000R is currently road registered (with V5, MOT and Tax) with a custom black and Gold paint job. Modifications from standard are as follows:
Modified adjustable rear sets
PCII Power Commander
Race Spark Plugs
K&N Air Filter
Scorpion race Cans (on stock system)
Also stock exhaust cans
Black D/B Screen
Various Carbon Fibre protective bits
Rear Plastic (Carbon Look) hugger
Modified undertray
1/5th turn Quick Action Throttle kit
Race fairing for track day usage
Spare Wheels for Slicks/Wets
Spare stock Calipers, lines and pads
Spare Stock brake discs
Mini front indicators
Flush rear indicators
Remote operated Abletronics Absolute Protec Alarm/Imobyliser system
Why not use the spare racing parts above to convert this bike for track usage? This would make the ultimate package!!!!! All for the cost of a stock road going ZX10R! It makes sense to me!!!
A picture of the road bike as it is now:
