I quite liked my NTV for what it was. Good for commuting and a capable touring bike if a windscreen is fitted. Almost maintenance free shaft drive and a really tough engine that delivers torque down low. Great fuel economy, typically 22 km/L

Tires are cheap and you can get away with fitting BT 45's. Single disk front and rear, so cheap in brake pads.

The VFR is also a very good bike with better braking capabilities. My average fuel consumption is 15,5 km/L. Cruising at 120 mph feels like 50 on the NTV because of the fairing Laughing

Great parts availability and early 90's Honda reliability Thumbs Up

How about adding a sidecar

Would be harder to fall off then

And whatever you do crash into you will just plough through it

Thumbs Up

I've heard they are harder to ride. I've managed to get the k100 to start anyway first time. Goes through gears fine clutch works fine. Might just repair it. The only other alternative I was thinking of is the royal enfield 350 but for the motorway I don't think they woUldale last that well.
