I think I did this a while back but anyway. Post up some pics of your fish tank cold water, tropical, marine, gold fish whatever! and maybe some nerdy specs too Laughing

I'll post some of my dad's tank once I can find some pics. My tank is 'under construction' (Planning on a small tank with a fuzzy dwarf lion Razz )

Those are amazing! Makes mine look a little puny now, although we will add some more decor once the Pleco has gone. If we put plants in now he'll eat them all.

I'll get some photos up tonight.

Cheers

My plecs never bothered with plants.
If you're planning on breeding a bit try and get some floating grass like plants and java moss for the fry to hide in. It will greatly increase their chances of survival.

I don't blame you for not wanting to put plants in just yet though. They're not easy to maintain Razz

Nice looking fishes slimrick Thumbs Up

Thanks for the comments! His tank is what got me into fishes. Funnily enough he started with a small tropical tank years ago and since then they've just been getting bigger and bigger Laughing This is his second reef tank and he'll probably stick with it.

I think I'm going the same way but on a smaller scale, I can't wait to set mine up in a couple of weeks! Razz

An old one of my tank before my CO2 cylinder dumped it's final amount into it and I lost half my lighting. I can barely get anything to grow now without either Sad

6ft Seabray tank just after i set it up so there's only a few small fish in there that you can't see Razz

No plants in it yet either. Not sure what happened to all my pics of it. Will do some digging later.

Similar, but not the same. Will try and get a better shot of him tonight. I cant think he is anything too fancy as him and his mate were given to me with the danios as the shop was closing and the guy couldnt be assed fishing them back out of the jug!

Quite cool though. At night time sometime after the light goes off the stripe breaks down and leaves 2 or 3 spots and it is only when you turn the light on in the morning and they start swimming around again the stripe comes back.

I think you've given the game away, as it looks like a zebra danio to me! I had a few in my tank years ago and they were great little community fish.

https://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr344/Tonkatoo_2008/Zebra_Danio.jpg

I'll take some pics of mine when I can see it across the living room, as I'm up to the ceiling with stuff from the other rooms at the moment.

I have to move the tank on Thursday morning to have the carpet laid and I'm not looking forward to it - it's a Aquaone UFO550!

My fish tank has a fake skull, some tubes, a fake plant, some water and a corn snake in it. But thats not what you meant is it lol.

Me and her indoors went to get some fish not long ago we seem to have a zoo here so were adding to it.

I didn't just want some little fishy things I want some bigish fish but we hadn't really read much about fish so decided to leave it for now.

I'm waiting till the snake needs a bigger tank and then probablys put some fish in this one so it doesn't go to waste. I love that reef tank but its far beyond my capabilitys.

Get a SINGLE piranha like I was going to do. Tank needs to be something like 3ft x 15" x 15" with an external filter. They are hardy fish and pretty easy to keep. The one I was going to get was Serrasalmus Rhombeus Thumbs Up Just don't feed them rats and goldfish like on youtube Laughing

I've always wanted a snake but I got 'I access denied' Laughing

I was living at my mams when I got the snake. I just guilt tripped her and said if she doesn't let me get one i'm moving out for good. She gave in and let me get one. I moved out a week later anyway. Needless to say she wasn't best pleased. The only problem I have with getting more animals is we have enough already. We would happily get more but we are running out of people to look after them when we go on weekends away lol.
