I emailled him before I bid and he said he could get a mate with a van to do it for £100, but then afterwards said he'd rung round and couldn't get anyone to do it before Christmas.

It was supposed to be going from Bridgend (South Wales) to Exeter.

I could have got a train there (3hrs) and ridden it home but tbh I don't really fancy riding for 3 hours on the motorway in the sort of weather we've been having recently.

Fair do's, it just sounded as if you had just bid without thinking about how you were going to get it!

Go for the 3 hour ride, it'll be a good story for the future!

especially when it breaks down halfway
