What do you recommend?

Ok i'm after a offroad bike for a fair bit of dual sport/supermoto use, i have been looking around and budget is going to be 1.5-2k. However it must meet a few conditions -

I ride with two friends on quads and this is going to be the bikes main work, it's got to be able to pull 90-100mph on tarmac, inorder to stay with these guys.

Lots of fun to ride!

Able to customise/do bits to it as time goes on.

So please erm well fire away!

ive got an xr650 supermoto for 1850. will do a ton and last all day rides without grief too.. plus all standard bitsand lots of bling based in surrey

You will need at least a 400cc 4 stroke bike , but the more over 400 you go the better.

tattoo's XR650 is within your budget, and will easily be able to keep up with your friends quads, plus it really looks the part(most important thing ) i'd get that if you can get down to surrey
