I've just brought myself an XR250 and want to take it off road. Is there anywhere around the boxhill area that i can find easily on a map and isn't too harsh for a beginner....

Cheers

If you get yourself an OS map - the pink "Landranger" ones are good - and you'll see the byways are marked.

See www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk for which maps cover you area.

To help you find the good / interesting ones, join your local TRF group (www.trf.org.uk) and they'll help you mark up your maps as well as give you some good riding mates for ride-outs.
