i have just aquired a fantic trail thingy....

i have identiafied it as a fantic 212cc (trail 201)of late 80's early 90's (front disc/rear drum)(mono shock)
and i am in need of a few bits (only cycle parts, as the motor is sound)... but i was hoping someone could just point in the right direction. (im in the SE). especially if its the same as a beta model of some description.

otherwise you may see it on ebay Smile

any infomation would be greatly appreciated.

cheers RS

Aye its a TRIALS bike , which is were you go over rocks, fallen trees, tight turns , steep banks, up rivers ect all at VERRY low speed.

I compete on A Honda TLR200 ( see profile for a picture) and enjoy it a lot , i used to ride modern trials bike's but the old twinshocks are more fun IMO.

Good look with getting her sorted.

Thumbs Up

changed plug, cap then HTlead then i sourced a ign/cdi coil (of a beta alp something) still wasnt running. found that the 'kiddie' who had it put another throttle cable on it, and put a smaller (loose fitting) throttle side in there... still making a none sparking noise, but its a noise i recognise... back to square 1 hahaa

cheers again guys for the info.
