Since the second *sorry, third* crash Embarassed Laughing The fairing was slightly bent, so after getting some new bit's off here I have decided to put other finishing touches on Smile Thumbs Up , and I've also moved the number plate further up the mount, so it's right between the rear indicators as a posed to an inch or 3 down the mount.

Well, she's of the road Till about next weekend now, the rear sprocket has seen better days, re-painting the wheel rims is harder than I thought(back to shiny white) and the home-made wiring loom is going to be started tomorrow.

You so need to remove that NSR sticker. Your bike is an NS125R...

Its like putting a CBR sticker on a FZR or something.

Cut the R off Laughing

And nice sprocket Shocked

You spraying the wheels yourself ?

I found spraying panels very hard to achieve a professional finish, Wheels are harder to do with the contours and angles. Don't use aerosol lacquer on them as it's turns out piss poor. If you do, test your spray on something else first. Also remember you need to allow to paint to harden before putting them back on the bike. In sprayshops they put them in the Oven for about an hour. But using environment temperatures i think it will be a few days depending on humidity.

Where can I get a carb that would fit? It has a "Dellorto" one on, not sure of size etc, but it has a flat spot which I think is the jet(s) so maybe a new carb for the Jets would sort it?

Well, been an eventful day.

Got the wheels finished off as best as I can with some white hammerite and a paint brush, then me and my dad got to work on the wiring loom(mainly him) which we thought was fecked, turns out nothing worked because the most important bulbs had blown, not too dodgy a wiring Laughing

Bulbs had blown because of a dodgy battery, still not sure what's wrong with it, but I'll get a replacement one with bulbs tomorrow or payday. Thumbs Up

So, bike's still in bits, wheels sorted, wiring fine but in need of bulbs so tomorrow I can start to bolt it together. I so can't wait to get on and ragg it around for an hour or two even though it has been only a week of no use. Embarassed Twisted Evil

Evo, the outside of the carb(engine side) measure's 44.5mm on the most outside part of the metal hole on the outside of the carb where the petrol etc goes in the engine. HTH. Thumbs Up

Is the battery same as NSR one ?

Model: CT5L-BS

Bought a new one couple of months ago to rule out a battery problem, it was a wiring fault so still got a spare working battery.

No wonder you think your batteries fucked if your using cable ties to connect the terminals. You need the best contact you can on the battery. Usually they use small metal blocks with threads in them, they slot inside the battery terminal then a screw goes through the wires through the battery terminal into thread. Cable ties arent exactly a great conductor and also flex.

You need to get that sorted lol.

You really are Mr.Bodge Wink

Well, wheels back on, fairing brace on and half tightened, can't do much for this fecking drizzle. wheels painted white but not too good although better than I expected for a brush and tin of white hammerite. Thumbs Up electrics all sorted, even killswitch works so can test for backfiring later. Twisted Evil

[Edit] Evo, I know about the terminals, they were complete when I got the battery, and are around somewhere Laughing but there's no point unscrewing time again, might as well bodge it for now, then screw it back up later when I find the screws and blocks. Cool Mr. Green

Stock carb is a 26mm dellorto. Jets can be got from https://www.dellorto.co.uk . The flat spot is most likely due to the exhaust you have on it. Try playing with the needle position.

All the best

As it happens, I noticed yesterday the exhaust gasket is qickly dis-appearing and the down pipe has two pinholes in due corrosion, tried exhaust bandage and it simply melts off, am I going to have to look for a new micron can/system? (I so hope not)

Evo, just found https://i9.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/af/51/99e2_1.JPG these on ebay dead cheap(due to seller typo) so I'll try them first... Thumbs Up
