hi all ive just taken the head off my ktm 200 exc 1999 cos i thouhgt the rings had gone but to my horror found that 1 of the clips that hold the piston in has come out and left some nasty scraps up the side of the barrel and the piston and rings r dead , so was woundering can i have the head rebored to a 250 and the get the right piston and rings for it if not where can i get the repair done i know lancourts will do it but was wondering is the anywhere in wales

Think there is a place in Wales, but cannot remember the name.

You might be able to get it bored out to 250cc and replated, but likely to be more issues (eg, the ports are angled, so boring out the barrel will result in the port heights going down), and you are likely to have het issues.
