hi, i have an eye on a TT350 on ebay at the moment...

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/yamaha-xt-tt-350_W0QQitemZ170149580245QQihZ007QQcategoryZ9809QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

could anyone tell me about it? the guy wants about £800 for it, is that a good price.
also, the idea of this bike is to be better than my XL250, i need better breaks as me and the girlfriend have had a few near misses with my crap breaks.

or would a dr350 better suit what i want?

any help would be great, thanks.

Looks a bit Thumbs Down not worth £800.

Get a dr350 , far better in every way, its worth spending a little more to get something more modern..

Most trail bikes have fairly poor front brakes. After all, they are mostly going to be used on a very loose surface where it would be very easy to lock the front wheel, especially with a powerful braking system.

Whether or not you go for another bike, it might be worth considering a bigger disc and/or caliper to improve your braking, especially if the bike's being used two-up.

Personally, I'd recommend having a look at the 600cc bikes if you want a bit more go (the kick start ones are still quite light, generally) as these have a fatter midrange.
