i already have 3 points.

on a bypass, perfectly straight road, no one but me, sat at 80 (60 zone)
coppers clocked me from a layby in the pitch dark at 84mph at 887feet.

now i have 3 points, my restriction is up on he 17th of november (5 weeks away)

if i pay the fine/points ill get it before my 12 point allowance, if i take it to coart too "buy some time" does it start from the date of offence, or when im prosectued in coart?

im a motorcycle mechanic and need my licence to road test bikes.

many thanks in advance to all that can help Thumbs Up

3 points shouldn't effect you getting your full 12 point licence.. .

In your post did you mean you already had 3 points or, that you now you have been caught speeding you have a total of 3 points?

I doubt going to court would do anything... but i dunno

If you have your licence revoked because of getting 6 points in the 2 years (I thought it was over 6 points but I mught be wrong), then there is NO appeal.

You have to get the points reduced or not given, if you get the points you loose your licence.

Sorry pal Sad

don't want to sound like a dick but this line is bollocks!

hear it all the time. you got caught- man up!

we all know the consequences of twisting the throttle. some of us get away with it longer than we really should while other's, like yourself get caught.

a mate of mine just lost his license for 6mths with a hefty fine. he got caught speeding on a highway with no cars at midnight.

tough luck.

i know this is probably not what you wanted to hear but live and learn, eh...
