The Chalk Pit, Lewes, Nr Brighton

Was told about this place by a mate, so went down to have a look. Pretty good . As the name suggests,its an old chalk quarry, with loads of banks, jumps etc. Its also miles away from any houses and it seems no-one has any objections to people riding their crossers there. When I went down there were about 6 bikes messing around. They also had a BBQ on the go. I think I'm gonna get the bike down there next weekend, once my new boots are here (dodgy ankle ). Anyone else intersted in coming down?

No mate, coming from the Cuilfail Tunnel up towards the A27, there's a layby at the top on the right (used to be a pikey site). Its in there and its pretty bloody good, especially for novices. I'm trying to get Davo to come down with his bike. Come along and have a go, then go and buy your own

Be intresting to see I like the ol' chalk pits. Use to ride some duffed up 125 around paulsgrove chalkies.
